Welcome to Leafovers (“the Extension”, “the Service”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service govern your use of the Leafovers Chrome Extension and related services at leafovers.com. By using Leafovers, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

You may use Leafovers only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. You are responsible for your notes and any content you create or store using the Service.

2. Accounts and Authentication

You may use Leafovers without an account (local mode) or sign in with Google to enable syncing.

• When signing in, we create an account using your Google user ID and email address
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You agree not to impersonate others or provide inaccurate account information

3. Cloud Sync and Data Storage

If you choose to sign in:

• Your notes will be stored on our servers and synced across your devices
• We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but you acknowledge that no system is completely secure

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription (“Pro Plan”).

• Payments are processed by third-party providers
• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law (including EU consumer protection laws)

5. User Content

You retain full ownership of your notes and content.

• We do not claim ownership of your content
• We only process your content to provide the Service (e.g., storage and syncing)
• We do not use your content for advertising or marketing

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful or harmful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Abuse or misuse the Extension in a way that impacts other users

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
• We are not responsible for loss of notes or data

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leafovers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, resulting from your use of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence within the European Economic Area (EEA), where applicable. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
